CARPET CLEANING AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANING TIPS

COFFEE STAINS:

• Mix one teaspoon of a neutral detergent with a cup of luke-warm water. Blot.
• Mix one-third cup of white household vinegar with two-thirds cup of water. Blot.
• Sponge with clean water. Blot.

TEA STAINS:

• Mix one teaspoon of a neutral detergent with a cup of luke-warm water. Blot.
• Mix one-third cup of white household vinegar with two-thirds cup of water. Blot.
• Repeat step one.
• Sponge with clean water. Blot.

BLOOD STAINS: (Use cold liquids unless stated otherwise)

• Mix one teaspoon of a neutral detergent to a cup of luke-warm water. Blot.
• Mix one tablespoon of household ammonia with a half-cup of water. Blot.
• Sponge with clean water. Blot.

BALLPOINT INK STAINS: (Use cold liquids unless stated otherwise)

• Sponge with a small amount of dry-cleaning solvent. Blot.
• Mix one teaspoon of a neutral detergent with a cup of luke-warm water. Blot.
• Sponge with clean water. Blot.

BALLPOINT INK STAINS: (Use cold liquids unless stated otherwise)

• Mix one teaspoon of a neutral detergent with a cup of luke-warm water. Blot.
• Mix one-third cup of white household vinegar with two-thirds cup of water. Blot.
• Repeat step one.
• Sponge with clear water. Blot.
